About this journal

Fieldnote is a place to think out loud about the parts of design that rarely make it into a case study: the second pass, the deleted section, the heading that needed to be two sizes smaller.

Everything here is written by one person, edited badly the first time, and published only once it has sat overnight. There is no publishing schedule, no newsletter funnel, and no plan to grow this into anything larger than it is.

If a note is useful to you, that is the whole point of it.
